Fedora Linux 41 Matrix Watch Party - EMEA
Join the Fedora community online in the European, Middle Eastern, and African (EMEA) time zones to celebrate the recent release of Fedora Linux 41 on Matrix. Registration is free but required.
What is Fedora?
The Fedora Project is a community of people working together to build a free and open source software platform and to collaborate on and share user-focused solutions built on that platform. Or, in plain English, we make an operating system and we make it easy for you to do useful stuff with it.
On October 29th, the Fedora community released the latest version of its operating system, Fedora Linux 41. This included new changes like DNF 5, major updates to GNOME and KDE, improvements for image mode and Secure Boot, and better hardware support for MIPI cameras.
What is a Release Party?
Fedora releases a new major version about every six months. Fedora has a long tradition of holding in-person and virtual Release Parties to bring our community of contributors, users, and open source fans to look at the last release of Fedora Linux and meet members of the community. This Fedora Release Party is open to Fedora contributors, users, and enthusiasts who want to know more about Fedora Linux 41 and what the community was up to during the last release cycle.
Registration is free, but required to attend. You will receive an invitation to your Matrix ID closer to the event
